Chicago's 25th annual Slaughterhouse rally!

Updated: Oct 14, 2019

Chicago's Slaughterhouse Rally is the oldest rally in the midwest and this year's rally was one of our biggest ever. We had over 150 scooterists registered, and they all got VCOA pins and registration forms in their goodie bags. We gave away some helmet liners and two pairs of Amerivespa 2020 registrations in our raffle (proceeds to charity, info to come, still doing the math!)

The new VCOA Chicago chapter printed up shop towels for registrants (photo attached), they were a big hit, and a few local members were displaying VCOA legshield banners all weekend.

The weather was great, the group rides were a blast, the bowling tournament was almost as hyper-competitive as last year, the gymkhana was BACK and good as ever, and to top it all off we had a fantastic live show Saturday night with local Polka-rockers The Polkaholics, Milwaukee punks The Royal Malossi, a Madchester-era cover band formed just for the occasion called The Inspiral Parkas, and Chicago ska favorites The Crombies featuring original-lineup Deal's Gone Bad members/songs.
