Vespa unveiled the new special edition models of some of their most popular scooters last week at the annual Amerivespa rally held this year in Richmond, Virginia. These 2019 models are slated for release at U.S. dealers over the next few months.
Vespa Primavera 50th Anniversary
For the first time in Vespa's history, it offers a scooter with a completely digital color dashboard.
Unveiled at the 1967 Milan motorcycle show for MY1968, the Primavera celebrates its 50th year as one of Vespa’s winningest models. Vespa increased the size of the wheels to 12 inches and offers on the “S” model a fully digital instrument panel with a full-color TFT display, a first for Vespa. Vespa Yacht Club
Vespa offers the special edition “Yacht Club” color scheme with a decidedly nautical flare.
Available in a 50 cc and a 150 cc Primavera as well as a 300 cc GTS, Vespa offers the SE Yacht Club in a color scheme with a decidedly nautical flare: white color, embellished with numerous navy blue details. The embellishments include special graphics on the chassisand the rims varnished an opaque blue with a special diamond finish, the "tie" on the front shield (also blue with chrome ornaments), and the rubber floorboard inserts. Also included in the color package and exclusive of the Yacht Club special series is the saddle, featuring a white edge that runs around the perimeter of the saddle, as well as the plate with the Yacht Club logo placed on the rear shield. Vespa Notte
The Notte pairs the matte black chassis with glossy black details making for an elegant black-on-black color scheme.
Vespa’s Notte series is offered in the 50 cc and 150 cc Sprint and the GTS 300. The Notte is all about fine elegance in fit-and-finish in a color scheme characterized by total black graphics. It pairs the matte chassis with glossy details including mirrors, ornaments of the classic "tie" on the front shield, handlebar ends, passenger grab rail, and the flip-out foot pegs on the GTS. Each model gets a dedicated saddle and a plate with the logo placed on the rear shield. The rims and muffler guard are also glossy black making for an elegant black-on-black color scheme.
